The Remi Group, LLC, an equipment maintenance management provider located in the Ballantyne area, has appointed Ron Calhoun as the company's new President.

Ron Calhoun has 20 years of commercial insurance leadership experience, holding sales leadership and national practice leadership positions within Wausau Insurance Services, J&H, Marsh, and most recently with Wachovia Insurance Services. Ron has an extensive background in both the Healthcare and Public Entity sectors, facilitating the development of several Healthcare-centric products and services to meet the ever changing financial and strategic needs that exist within the Healthcare community. He is a member of the American Society of Healthcare Risk Management and the American Health Lawyers Association. Ron is also on the Advisory Board of the Owen School of Management's Healthcare MBA Program at Vanderbilt University. Ron is a graduate of The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina where he received a BSBA with a major in accounting. He received an MHRD from Clemson University.
